We want to give our heartfelt thanks to Yakov, a USA based electronic music curator, for adding our new track 'Pale Red Dot' to his 'Melodic Techno Showcase' playlist, available here.
As enthusiasts of the genre ourselves, we recognise the influence of trance music on melodic techno, infusing it with an uplifting, positive, and often mesmerising tone. The carefully selected songs in this playlist capture the heart of melodic techno. If you are want to hear the transcendent melodies or pulsating rhythms on offer from the latest melodic techno artists, this playlist is for you. You can expect sounds similar to artists such as Solomun, ARTBAT, or Tale of Us.

Thank you to Phoenix FM - a prominent radio station based in London, for their generous support. Their decision to share our track 'Saugata' with the fine people of London fills us with immense appreciation, and we thank them for the air time. Our track opened the 'Rising Stars' show and for those eager to listen, the show is available here.
In addition to this exciting news, we also had the privilege to have Q&A format interview with Phoenix FM where we delved into the origins of our musical passion, explored our sources of inspirations, and reminisced about the early days of our creative endeavours. If you are curious to learn more, check it out here. Thank you Phoenix FM for taking an interest in our music and giving us a platform to share our story with the world. Check out our artist feature with Disrupt Weekly here where our current releases and overall approach to music production is discussed. This particular paragraph caught our eye.
"Erra P., short for Erra Project, embodies the collective musical experiences and aspirations of Coonan, a DJ with a keen ear for electronic beats, and O’Brien, a classically trained musician with a deep understanding of musical composition. This fusion of backgrounds and skills has enabled them to craft a sound that stands out in the overly-saturated landscape of sub-par electronic music." With every positive affirmation, we are further inspired to refine our skills and push our musical boundaries. Our mission is to create electronic music that resonates with people on a deeper level - music that is mature, meaningful, and soulful. Our ultimate goal is to spread joy and uplift audiences with the power of our sound. Thank you Disrupt Weekly for fuelling this mission. We can't express enough gratitude to every music curator, playlister, blog, radio, and website who shares our music. Your support brings us immeasurable joy. A sincere thanks to Streamefy for helping us fulfil our mission of spreading joy and happiness through electronic music across the globe. We're incredibly grateful for their inclusion of our music in their expertly curated Spotify playlist, which you can find here.
This morning, we were planning and listening to this playlist, and can confirm that it grooves hard. If you like your techno mature and deep (spoiler: we do) this playlist is truly a treasure trove. It is an honour to see our music alongside renowned like OddMob, Eli Brown, OMNOM, or Layton Giordani, it really makes us smile. Being considered on-par with such industry giants is not only humbling but also incredibly affirming for us as independent artists. The recognition of our music's quality, alongside the acknowledgment of our mixing and mastering skills, gives us a huge boost of confidence and motivation. Every time our music is shared is a win for us, and inspires us to continue creating music that resonates with listeners worldwide. It fuels our passion and drives us forward on our journey! We want to extend our warmest thanks to Last Day Deaf for giving us the opportunity share some of our story on their platform. The post can be found here and we hope you enjoy reading a little about us and our musical evolution!
Erra P. came into existence in back in 2016, but our roots dig deeper. Prior to the formation of the group, both members were already immersed in the music world. From DJing to playing guitar in bands, from fine-tuning our technical skills as live sound engineers to improving our production abilities as studio engineers; these experiences laid the foundation for Erra P. In this interview, we reminisce a little about those formative years which led us to where we are today. Again, thank you to Last Day Deaf for their tireless effort in championing independent music. Their unwavering support to music plays a very important role in shaping trends outside of the mainstream. We encourage you to check out their blog and the amazing artists they showcase, and thank you again for amplifying our voices. We extend our gratitude to ASYMBA Records for acknowledging our work and featuring our tech house track, "Pale Red Dot," on their Spotify playlist, "Beast Mode Bangers". It's a honour to find ourselves among artists we admire such as Jamie Jones and John Summit.
What makes this recognition even more special is that ASYMBA Records is from our home base of The Netherlands. Being endorsed locally adds an extra layer of significance, as it reflects the connection our music has with our local community. We're immensely grateful for this recognition and excited to continue sharing our music with the world. Massive thanks to ASYMBA Records and to all your listeners. Stay tuned for more beats and vibes coming your way! We're thrilled to give our gratitude to a fellow producer in the Techno and House music scene - @therealabcm Our track "Pale Red Dot" has found a home on his wonderfully curated public Spotify playlist "Heightened Frequencies". It's truly inspiring to have our work acknowledged by a fellow producer, and the support from within the community means the world to us.
We also want to take a moment to appreciate ABCM's latest release "Focus" in collaboration with @tjlawtonmusic. We enjoyed immersing ourselves in their sound, straight from the UK. Nice work! We were pleasantly surprised today to discover that our latest track, "Pale Red Dot," has been shared on the Portuguese blog, 'Summer Triangle.' Coincidentally, just yesterday, we found our track featured on a Brazilian workout playlist. This raises the intriguing question: does our music resonate more with Portuguese speakers, or is this just a happy coincidence? We're not entirely sure, but either way, we're immensely grateful.
It's incredibly fulfilling to know that our music is reaching and inspiring people from various corners of the globe. Not only that, but platforms like Summer Triangle have also introduced us to other talented techno and house producers! Running a blog like Summer Triangle is often a labor of love, often involving countless hours and little recognition. So, we'd like to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Summer Triangle for their support of independent artists like us. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and it means the world to us. Thank you to Justin over at Purple Tea Records (Instagram) for sharing our new tech-house single 'Pale Red Dot' on the 'Tech house Blend - Purple Tea Records (Best Tech House & House Music 2024)' playlist over on Spotify.
We put our full soul into music creation with one of our main goals being to bring happiness to as many people all around the world as we can. Its initiatives like Purple Tea Records who champion quality independent artists, that allow us to reach new audiences and share our music with the world. Let's keep spreading the joy through music together! Our latest Tech House release, 'Pale Red Dot' is going from strength to strength. Big thanks to Valtar Soares from Brazil for promoting our track on the massively popular "Treino 2024 (Funcional e Malhação)" Spotify playlist. In English, the playlist title translates to "Training 2024 (Functional and Workout)". We can definitely see how the pulsating and deep rhythm of this track is the ideal music for getting into the zone during your workout.
Get healthy, get fit, and feel good, all while listening to great tech house music! |
