Our new single "Pale Red Dot" is available now on Beatport, Spotify, Bandcamp, and other platforms. This is the second single from our upcoming techno/tech-house album due for release in Spring 2024. Check it out - we're very pleased with this one! Inspired by Carl Sagan's 'Pale Blue Dot' monologue, we wrote our own version called the 'Pale Red Dot', where the red dot instead symbolises the DJ booth in a dark club. Here it is.
Pale Red Dot Fix your gaze on that ruby beacon piercing the smoke, the beating heart of this concrete cosmos. That's the DJ booth, friends. That's us. Every soul swaying under its spell, every face painted in its crimson glow, a thousand souls brought together in love and laughter. Within its incandescent pulse, a thousand nights ignite, a thousand stories pulse to the rhythm of the needle on vinyl. Think of it, this concrete-walled nebula, beating with energy and sweat. Here, the DJ, the cosmic conductor, wields the music like a celestial brush, orchestrating our shared euphoria. We, the dancers, are stardust swirling in the audio’s wake, feet sketching constellations on the floor, hands reaching for connection in the strobe's fleeting grace. No mountain peak nor vast ocean's expanse can hold a candle to the intimacy and joy within this concrete cavern, lit by the crimson beacon. On this dance floor, under the DJ booth's hypnotic gaze, we're not just strangers. We're galaxies colliding, supernovae erupting in each other's eyes, every beat a shared heartbeat, every bass drop a baptism in the sonic tide. So lose yourself, friends, in the DJ booth's fiery symphony. Let the ruby light paint your story on the canvas of the night. For in this fleeting moment, bathed in the glow of the pale red dot, we are not separate creatures, but a single, magnificent soul, dancing in the heart of the universe. - Erra P.

This update is something a little bit different. There is a very unique online radio called 'Radio 3S' based out of France. What sets them apart from other stations? It's their commitment to sustainability — the entire station operates on 100% solar power!
You might have noticed that a lot of the Erra P. aesthetic is of nature, and this was done with intention. In our studio in Ireland, we are surrounded by nature, and in the local area we have some of the most beautiful landscapes Europe has to offer - which gives us great inspiration. We care about the planet, and we support Radio 3S in the eco-conscious decision they made to power their production house sustainably. Adding to the nature allure, their show names also mirror the beauty of nature, e.g. 'Sunrise Coffee' or 'Golden Hours'. We appreciate that our techno track 'Saugata' has been selected to be on rhythmic rotation on their 'Full Moon' show from 00:00 - 05:00 (European time). Beyond their commitment to sustainability and nature, their music selection is genuinely one of the best we have heard of any online radio station. Their ear for music and song choice for their radio shows is simply unmatched. Well done guys. Don't miss your chance to catch Erra P. on Radio 3S here, 00:00 - 05:00 (Central European Time), Monday through to Sunday - a blend of techno and nature awaits. We want to give a big shoutout to Baze, a Techno label and curator from none other than The Netherlands - where Ciaran from Erra P. lives!
As well as handling label duties, Baze is rapidly becoming a notable music curator and has already amassed over 2250 likes on his Spotify Techno playlist in a short period of time. After diving into some of the curated selection, it's evident that if you crave dark, fast, or industrial techno (or all three), this playlist is your ultimate go-to. We are anticipating continued growth of their followers based on what we have heard! Check our their instagram here. We would like to send our thanks and appreciation to Last Day Deaf for their positive review of our techno track 'Saugata'.
In particular, we are so pleased to read that Last Day Deaf understood our intention for this track to be played in the underground clubs across the world, and indeed is intended to invite people into the techno underworld. "It’s old-school, destined to rattle the foundations of underground clubs. With an artful mix of electronic textures, Saugata emerges as a cool, unapologetic anthem, inviting listeners into the electrifying chaos of the techno underworld." - Last Day Deaf. We recommend checking out Last Day Deaf, an independent music blog who work hard to support independent artists. We can get behind their motto - "Sound Overwhelming Everything". Listen to 'Saugata' on Spotify, Beatport, or Bandcamp. We would like to give our appreciation to Alpas Records for adding us to their ''TECH SNEK" playlist on Spotify. In their own words, the playlist allows the listener to 'slither onto the dance floor or do some heavy lifting with these tight beat and bass grooves'. Certainly we will be listening to this playlist during our morning exercise routine!
Based in Brussels and managed by Sam and Bregt, Alpas Records not only have a great ear for curating heavy electronic music - they also have a diverse interest in musical genres. Their playlists include hand picked music from Psychedelic Rock to Reggae, from Metal to Ethnic, and everything in between. Catering to a wide audience, their playlists offer a rich selection suitable for every taste. For music enthusiasts seeking to explore new horizons, we highly recommended to follow Alpas Records' playlists, as the content is consistently refreshed, ensuring a continuous flow of new and exciting music. We are so pleased to learn that our tech-house remix of 'Saugata' has been featured on a Spotify public playlist, curated by Russia based R_sound, who really seem to do a bit of everything!
R_sound is an electronic music label who promote underground music from house to techno, and everything in between. They also have an active YouTube channel where they showcase video content of DJ performances, recorded from parties both in Russia and neighbouring countries. Finally, they regularly record audio of DJ performances at underground parties, also in Russia and neighbouring countries. They upload these to Mixcloud to ensure that you hear the electronic music you love, from great up-and-coming artists. Exclusive content is also available if your subscribe to their Mixcloud, with all proceeds going back to promoting music. We highly recommend checking out R_sound's website here, as they are doing amazing work. Also the main landing page of their website is beautiful. Their playlist, featuring Erra P. is called "Pro Melodic Indie \/ Electronic Music" and can be found here. We are pleased that our new friends over at Radio Techno Zagreb, part of the Kapital3 group, have created an artists profile for us. You can find our profile following this link.
Adding to this, we are grateful that we have been given the opportunity to host a one hour techno set, live on Radio Techno Zagreb, starting at 15:00 Dublin/London time (16:00 Zagreb/Amsterdam/Berlin time). Make sure to tune in. This is a techno set you do not want to miss out on. It features some of our original music, as well as some current techno hits. You can find the link to the live radio show here. Thank you again Radio Techno Zagreb. Make sure to give them a follow on Instagram @kapital3 Simply put - it seems our tech-house version of our techno song 'Saugata' can't be stopped. We have been added to another public playlist. This time it has been selected by the fantastic David Zanellati - a DJ and producer from Luxembourg who has a great ear for hits. No doubt, this is partly due to his time at Bliss Corporation, who were responsible for artists such as Eiffel65 and Gabry Ponte. We are so pleased that a fellow DJ and producer has recognised our work and featured us on their public playlist. You can find more about David here, and the playlist here.
We are thrilled to be featured on yet another public playlist for our tech-house remix of our techno song 'Saugata'. The curator is Club Edition, and they feature some fantastic artists, whom we are proud to sit beside. At over 6 hours long, we are still working our way through all the music, but we recommend this playlist for any tech-house enthusiast!
You can find the playlist here. |
