This EP was inspired by foggy and peaceful mornings in Clonmel, Ireland, where our studio overlooks the town. We couldn't help but try create a few pieces which capture this beauty. Ethereal and haunting are words that spring to mind when listening to this music. Perfect for quiet nights, or early mornings, when it is nothing but you, the earth, and the elements.

Along with our free-to-download hip-hop instrumental EP, we have been working on some additional projects. One we are getting excited about as the finishing touches are drawing to a close, is an chilled electronic track with vocals by the very talented ActorActor. The tracks are reminiscent of our 2017 electronic single entitled Soma. 

At this time, one track is totally complete and mixed, with only vocals and mixing left to complete on the second track. This double release is taking a little more time than expected to release, but we would rather do it right than do it fast!

We've been a bit quite lately on creating music, but for good reason. 

We just created an artificial intelligence algorithm which automatically detects and isolates the singing voice from music. All of this was based on the physics of sound, the properties of a spectrogram (pic below), and made possible with machine learning. This was a full time project over the past few months and its made good progress and is now in the beta stages. ​

We have been back in the studio making some instrumental music and are happy to release our newest single "Pharos" on YouTube and SoundCloud as well as all the usual outlets.

We have noticed from comments online and feedback that we the percussion elements are often very simple. This is intentionally the case as we like minimalistic music. But we took the feedback on board and challenged ourselves and made an instrumental with extremely busy percussive elements. The idea was that the drum parts would keep the listener engaged throughout the song. We had great fun making this happen! 

Pharos is an old Greek work meaning beacon or lighthouse, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, is sometimes referred to as the Pharos of Alexandria. 

We have more tunes which are currently being produced and will feature some fantastic vocal lines and lyrics. We will keep you posted!
