The World End - Lo-fi hip-hop release

We are proud to release are second double single release of 2020, 'The World End', which features two lo-fi hip-hop tracks. 

Both tracks were made in isolation from the Coronavirus, with the three musicians who performed on these working from three separate home studios! As always, we mixed and mastered the tracks ourselves from one of those studios.

We always have lo-fi hip-hop playing while working or studying and welcome the recent explosion in the genre. Strangely it took us all this time before we decided to make a lo-fi hip-hop release of our own!

The first track, 'In a Weary World' features some great bass playing from our friend Mark Hickey, and a fabulous vocal sample from Gene Wilder in his Willy Wonka character - it hits you right in the heart. The inspiration for the second track, 'Pont Neuf', was a recent trip to Paris where we caught up with some old friends and stayed in a beautiful apartment owned by a famous Parisian playwright overlooking the bridge of the same name.
